A few short words cannot highlight how happy I am with the work Big N’ Small Paws 317 did! This is coming from a very frugal person who hates to spend money on anything, this service was worth every penny and more! Jerry and his team absolutely blew my expectations out of the water! Our 4 month old German Shepard came out of his 21 day board and train a completely different puppy. Not only will your dog have the most amazing training, but Jerry went above and beyond to make sure we were educated on how to continue the progress when he came back home. Jerry really does care about each and every dog that he trains and even has different techniques based on their individual personalities. They are the best! If you are looking for PERSONALIZED dog training then Big N' Small Paws is perfect! We have been using their services for over 2 years on and off. We have a German Shepherd who WAS dog reactive and 2 Golden Retrievers that need ongoing "tune ups". The Big N' Small Paws team never disappoints. We also use their twice a week Doggie Daycare. I have to mention Samari too. She is their onsite groomer who always fits Juniper in during daycare. So super convenient! They truly are a one stop shop for all your dog care needs. Lastly, we have used other trainers in the past and absolutely none of them actually cared, making a personal connection, with any of our dogs like the Big N' Small Paws training team. I don't have enough room to say all the good things about Big N' Smalls Paws 317. Our puppy JR needed training and my husband found Jerry. JR arrived on his first day very overactive and not listening to commands. We took him home tonight after 30 days and he is totally a different puppy. He is calm, attentive, alert, listens to commands and he looks great. The training we received as owners allows us to keep JR happy. I'm so pleased with the staff and care he received. I highly recommend the staff and training. JR has a new home as we will be boarding him at the facility as well as getting him groomed. Thank you for all your work with JR. ~ Monica F

Incredible experience — for us and (more importantly) our dog. We rescued a dog and were intent on giving him a better life. And we got to a point that it was good. But that level (comparatively better than a shelter life) was pretty much based on avoiding stressful situations. Big n small paws have raised our bar — we are looking to create a great life for our dog. They are working with him — and us as owners — to safely be in situations that many dog owners could take for granted. There is structure and confidence in their training and the positive difference in our dog has been incredible. We had a great experience with a full groom with Rebecca! I took my mini Australian Shepherd who's a pup to her, and he came out looking better then ever and smelling wonderful. He was comfortable and enjoyed all the attention from everyone. So I decided to go ahead and take in our older dog which is an Australian shepherd mix, Rebecca did awesome with her too. She is very skidish and warmed up nicely. She also came out smelling amazing and absolutely beautiful. Rebecca is very knowledgeable and gives you all the details of your pups visit. We just love our experience with Big N' Small Paws 317! The team clearly loves what they do and knows what they are doing. Not only have they taught our high energy mini-bernadoodle, Ajax, many skills, they are teaching US how to interact with him in a way that gives us what we want (good behavior out of him), while still being ourselves/feeling natural. We did the 30 day board and train, which include follow up lessons at home. Now, we have moved on to more advanced skills such as going in public places with lots of distractions (even off leash!). I would like to thank big and small paws 317 for providing great quality care for my little fur babies! It was my first time boarding my dogs and from the beginning my dogs immediately felt at home. My dogs are very hyper and wild. They could benefit from dog training classes but Big Small Paws 317 was patient enough to care for them . Just from them staying there for 12 days I saw some behavior improvements . I will mostly follow up on some dog training classes. We hired Jerry at BigNSmallPaws to train my sisters’s 2 dogs. She got them when they were 1 and 1 1/2 years old and they had no training at all and one of them was treated horribly. They were considered bully breeds and were a bit on the wild side but very loving dogs to their owners. Jerry and his team trained and cared for the dogs for more than a month with good results. They are now friendly and ok with strangers. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them again. We are boarding them now at their place as it’s a secure and loving environment. My dog and I are so in love with Big n Small Paw’s newest groomer! I’ve been taking my dog to Rebekah (groomer) for over 2 years now! When she made the switch to Big n Small, I knew we had to follow her. She’s the only groomer that’s been able to make my dog comfortable enough to be groomer regularly. Rebekah has always been so nice and respectful to her clients and their pups! She sends me pictures of how my dog is doing during her appt too. It’s been refreshing taking my dog to someone who clearly loves and is so knowledgeable about dogs. I couldn’t recommend her more! ~ Taylor S

Although Louie isn’t our first dog, he is the first German Shepherd, so we wanted to make sure he got a solid training foundation as he will grow to be more than double the size of our other dog. Jerry didn’t just train Louie, but us too! He showed us how to continue this at home and make sure Louie stays “fluent” as he would say. We left every training session more confident each time that Louie was getting the best training, but more importantly the best love and care from all the workers. I sought help from big and small paws after my dog got loose at motorcycle race at fought with another dog unprovoked. This was not her first time being trained, but I was hopeful for a different result. She was very reactive and would bark and raise her heckles if a dog got within 50 feet of us. In the free consultation with the father son training team they were able to recognize her fear based reactivity and recommend a 8 session plan. In the first lesson I was impressed with how well they could work with her given her nature. We worked on basic behavior commands to establish communication such as down stay touch come etc. From there we expanded our training to the reactivity and were able to interact and walk on the same side as a strange dog, have 50+ dogs cross our path at Fort Harrison, and even were able to calmly sit in the fashion mall during the holiday season. I would recommend big and small paws for any of your training or boarding needs. ~ Sam M

We are so grateful to have found Big N' Small Paws! Before our training began, we would lose control of our two, large, 6 year old doodles anytime we were walking and saw another dog or animal. After just one session with Jaden and Jerry, our dogs were loose leash walking without barking at every other animal! With two older dogs and several different training attempts, we thought the leash aggression and barking were something we were just going to have to live with. Big N’ Small Paws 317 took such great care of me and my fur baby, Jordan. I was having a little anxiety about finding a groomer who would be able to handle my squirmy little Yorkie but Samari was very kind, caring, loving and treated him like he was her own which put me at ease. We have both a 7 year old rescue Lab with resource guarding issues and a 10 month old very enthusiastic lab puppy that both need training. Big N’ Small Paws have been great to work with! My Husband and I was searching for a place to bring My German Rottweiler to train to be a Service Dog for me. I had called around to alot of places I had check everyone's reviews then My Husband had gotten ahold of Big N' Small Paws 317 and talked with Jerry about our dog Brutus to be trained as a service dog. He explained everything that they do and for how long it will take. My Husband and I was really pleased on the conservation we had. We had set a date to meet Jerry & Jaydan . Wow oh Wow the hospitality we received and the love they showed for Brutus was spectacular. It had brought tears to my eyes to see the love that Brutus had shown them. Now Brutus is being trained by Big N' Small Paws 317. Brutus is doing so good. If anyone is looking for a place for training, doggie day care for a day, or if you need a place while you go on vacation for your precious dog I would highly recommend Big N' Small Paws 317. We reached out to Big N’ Small Paws in January about our dog, Bear. He just had so many relational problems and we felt as if we couldn’t control him no matter how much we tried.
